Super Oba Illustration

I present to you one of my works of creation and illustration of mascots, along with some examples of how it was applied.

The process started in a traditional way, with brainstorming and a hand-drawn sketch that was later digitized. From there, I refined the lines and applied colors, lights, and shadows using programs like Clip Studio Paint to create the character Super Oba, and Photoshop/Illustrator for its application in advertising pieces for Oba Superatacado.

I aimed for a charismatic concept for the character, while also making him imposing and confident. I drew inspiration from characters like X from Megaman and Saiyaman from Dragon Ball Z, although they are personal preferences, I tried to portray them in a way that the audience would receive well. And the result was very positive!
